Oakwood Veterinary Referrals was set up in 1999 at the Willows Veterinary Hospital site and has expanded over the years. We now offer referrals with either Diploma or Certificate Holders in Soft Tissue Surgery, Orthopaedic Surgery, Internal Medicine, Cardiology and Dermatology.

It is a recognised training hospital for specialists in surgery.  The training programme was approved by the European College of Veterinary Surgeons for both orthopaedics and soft tissue surgery. It is also recognised by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons for training to Dilpoma standard for small animal soft tissue surgery, the highest qualification available in the UK . 

We are based in Hartford near Northwich in Cheshire with easy access from the M6. We operate from purpose built hospital premises approved by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons.  We have a dedicated imaging suite (in addition to radiography we offer fluoroscopy, colour flow Doppler ultrasound and endoscopy and MRI scanning), separate orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery operating theatres. Our cat and dog kennels are separate.
