Some useful information for your visit
to Oakwood Following a
consultation and discussion with the referral
vet, they may decide to admit your pet to the hospital or to
perform further tests. In order to do so, your pet will need to have
had all food taken away at 10.00 pm, the day before the appointment; since blood
tests or an anaesthetic may be required as part of the investigations or management.
We will report
to you by
phone as soon as practical on
the progress of your pet. You are welcome to phone on a daily
basis to check on your pet's progress. If one of the veterinary surgeons is
unavailable due to other case commitments , you can get an update from our nursing
team. For long stay patients, visiting can be arranged by prior appointment.
After
any diagnostic or surgical procedures, animals stay at Oakwood Veterinary
Referrals, until the clinicians are satisfied with their
recovery.
