experience in orthopaedic and spinal referrals. Charlie graduated

from Glasgow in 1991. He worked in a small animal practice in

Bolton for four years where he developed an interest in

orthopaedics. In 1995 he moved to the Willows Veterinary

Hospital, part of the Willows Vet Group and set up an internal

orthopaedic and spinal referral service. In 1997 he attained the

RCVS certificate in small animal orthopaedics and began

excepting external referrals. Soon after John Williams arrived

and began Oakwood Charlie’s services came under the Oakwood

umbrella. This has been a dedicated referral service for the last

 4 years. Charlie has recently become a diplomate of the European

College of Veterinary Surgeons. Charlie has published articles on

spinal conditions in the dog.
