Ian Hopkins BSc, BVSc, CertSAM, MRCVS graduated from Liverpool in 1993 and joined Willows Veterinary Group in 1999 becoming a small animal partner in 2006. He gained his certificate in 2003 in small animal medicine and since this date Ian has run the medicine referrals at Oakwood. Ian has a particular interest in non invasive diagnostic techniques. He is proficient in flexible endoscopy of the respiratory tract including rhinoscopy, gastrointestinal endoscopy including gastric, duodenal, ileal and colonic biopsy techniques and endoscopic foreign body retrieval from the respiratory tract and gastric areas. He is also adept at abdominal ultrasonography and regularly performs ultrasound guided biopsies.
