Claire McArdle BVSc, CertVD, MRCVS qualified from Liverpool University in 1991 and gained her Certificate in Veterinary Dermatology in 2001 while working in companion practice in Cheshire. She joined Oakwood in 2005 after working as a lecturer in the Dermatology Referral Clinic at Liverpool University.

Allergic disease and auto-immune disorders frequently affect the skin of pets and Claire is experienced with allergen-specific immunotherapy, immuno-suppresant drugs and topical therapy. The majority of these conditions are chronic and require long term or life long therapy.
She also offers MRI scanning for cases of otitis and liaises closely with our soft tissue surgeon, Mr J ohn Williams, over themanagement of these often difficult cases.
