• Laura Dixon
    Receptionist

Laura joined Oakwood Veterinary Referrals as a receptionist in 2015.
Her love of animals and her desire to develop her administration and customer services skills first attracted her to the job. Over the last two years she has greatly enjoyed building client relations and has discovered an interest in the financial aspect of the job.
Laura is  owned by two cats called Lagertha-Pickle and Ragnar-Shoe.

    Sarah Jane White
    Receptionist

Sarah has found her ideal job combining 13 years of customer service experience with her love of animals. Growing up she helped her mother with a private rescue sanctuary for ponies along with various other small furry creatures from dogs to chickens. Sarah loves to ride horses and has a soft spot for all waifs and strays.

    Helen Cooper
    Receptionist

Having been a client of Oakwood Referrals for many years with her Dandie Dinmont Terrier, Helen was so pleased with the expertise and level of care Charlie Cooper received that she joined the team in 2016.

Helen regularly attends Crufts, both in the show ring and helping out on the Dandie Dinmont Discover Dogs stand, and is fond of allcreatures great and small. What she would really like is a donkey – maybe a pair, just like Alan Bennett!

    Claire Woodall
    Receptionist

Claire started working for Oakwood in August 2016 on a part time basis after 16 years experience working for an activity holiday company and 10 years in the hotel industry. The variety of the role means that no two days are ever the same & you never know who or what you will encounter each day. The joy of seeing an animal nursed back to health cannot be beaten & makes the role very rewarding. Claire believes that a home is not a home without a pet and is currently Mum to Holly a 13 year old West Highland terrier.
